Since several weeks we are returning to a normal lifestyle. Many of us have finished the period of working at home, we no longer wear masks outside, we move about freely and go on holiday. Sunbathing is an inseparable element of a seaside vacation. Kołobrzeg offers wide, sandy beaches that tourists love. You do not have to give up resting on them, as long as you take precautions.
How to sunbathe safely in the times of coronavirus? Here are some tips:
1. The easiest way to protect yourself against coronavirus on the beach is to avoid crowds. Try to get a comfortable place off the beaten track, away from large clusters of people. Between sunbathers the distance of minimum 2 meters should be kept. If you do not care for a strong tan, enjoy the charms of the beach in the afternoon when it will be less occupied.
2. It's best to bring your own resting equipment to the beach, e.g. a folding sunbed or a blanket. This way you will avoid the risk of transmission of the virus from an object that an infected person may have used previously.
3. Windbreaks which are popular at the Polish seaside may prove to be exceptionally useful this holiday season. In addition to protecting against the sun or wind, they allow you to mark a safe space around you, and can also provide additional protection against harmful germs.
4. Let's not forget to wash your hands regularly under running water with soap as often as possible. Antibacterial gels that have been accompanying us for months are also worth taking to the beach with you.
5. It is true that the mandate of covering the mouth and nose has been cancelled in open spaces, but it is worth taking a mask with you to the beach and if you cannot avoid being in a larger group of people, wear it when you rest.
